Saraswathy Vidyanikethan, Chengamanad was founded in 1995 as an integral part of Bharatheeya Vidyanikethan which is the Kerala chapter of Vidyabharathi Akhil Bharateeya Shiksha Samsthan, India's largest non-governmental educational organization. It is situated in a serene, lush green’ calm and quiet place ideal for learning. School is proving its mettle in all spheres of academic activities including arts and culture. It has never looked back since its very inception. Naturally the school bags accolades in abundance from all quarters. This School has registered the recognition and respect of the society within a short period. It is due to the unreserved and unconditional co-operation of the generous and optimistic citizens of the surrounding areas that the school could survive the teething troubles and achieve the development and growth that we see today.

Sisuvatika
The curriculum is a cultural training scheme, not merely an academic exercise. It imparts cultural education to children as well as to their parents according to the concept of “Veete Vidyalayam” which means home itself is a school.
Multi-lingual Instructuion
Under this scheme children are taught Malayalam, English, Sanskrit and Hindi from the primary level.
Panchangasikshan
This is a personality development programme with physical- yogic- musical- sanskrit- value oriented- educational scheme based on the integral development of our body, prana, mind, wisdom and atma.
